The Pittman family reached out with the sweetest note, sharing how much they wanted to celebrate this season of life after welcoming their son home from a long NICU stay. Now a family of four, they were intentional about documenting their time together and I could not have been more honored to capture that for them.

We met at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham. Between posed family portraits and candid moments of connection this session was all about soaking up the joy of being together. After such a long and emotional journey, photographing the Pittmans felt extra special.
