Family Portraits at Fred Fletcher Park | Raleigh Family Photographer

Fred Fletcher Park is my go-to location for mini sessions and it was the perfect setting for the King family’s session. Even on busy mornings, this park offers a wide variety of beautiful spots to capture natural, timeless photos in just 15 minutes. The morning of their session started off a little chilly but we all warmed up once the session started. Mini sessions are a great way for families to get updated portraits efficiently while still enjoying a relaxed experience. I loved meeting the King family and capturing these moments for them!

This spring I had the pleasure of photographing three Duke University grads who have been friends since freshman orientation week! Rachel graduated with a BS in Biology, Lana with a BS in Computer Science, and Aasha with a BS in Neuroscience. These three were so much fun to work with, and I loved getting to document both their individual accomplishments and a friendship that lasted throughout their four years at Duke.

Coker Arboretum in Chapel Hill has rich autumn colors, winding paths, and peaceful garden setting that photographs beautifully in soft light. This session was part of my fall mini sessions, which are designed to be efficient while still offering a relaxed, enjoyable experience for families. Mini sessions are ideal for busy families who want updated portraits without committing to a full session. The Sandburg family’s connection, warmth, and familiarity with the process made their fall portraits both natural and timeless.
