I first met Mikaela and Connor when rain changed their wedding day plans, and I was booked to capture a re-shoot for them at Angus Barn. One year later, Mikaela reached out to me to book a baby announcement session! I was so honored to photograph this exciting next chapter for them. We chose downtown Durham for their session, starting at PRESS Coffee before moving to the American Tobacco Campus.

Baby announcement sessions are a beautiful way to document this season of anticipation and connection before welcoming a little one. Mikaela and Connor are such a sweet and fun couple, and their excitement about becoming parents was evident throughout the session. Congrats to these two and their new little Duke fan!
