Courtney and Hal | An Intimate Wedding at The Umstead Hotel and Spa

I had the pleasure of photographing Courtney and Hal’s intimate wedding at The Umstead Hotel this past June. It was a beautifully intimate celebration with their closest friends and family. This wedding was especially meaningful for me because it was the last wedding I’d photograph. While the day was bittersweet in many ways, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful couple or setting to close the wedding chapter of my photography journey.

Courtney and Hal chose to keep their wedding day intimate and personal. Their ceremony was short, heartfelt, and intentional. After the ceremony, we explored the grounds and took portraits and family photos followed by an intimate dinner.

As I reflect on my final wedding, I am so grateful for all of the couples that trusted me to photograph their special day. I’ve had so much fun over the years celebrating couples on their wedding day and will continue to celebrate and photograph them with their growing families!
